Job Description:
SPS Framing Ltd. located at 10085-128A Street, Surrey, BC V3T 3E4 needs to hire 2 Framer Carpenter NOC-72310 on full time and permanent basis working 40 hours weekly.
Job Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements. Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools. Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials. Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems. Fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, moulding and hardware. Maintain, repair and renovate residences. Supervise apprentices and other construction workers.
Job Skills:
High School education, English language proficiency, 1 year Framer Carpenter work experience.
Wage: $38.80 hourly and Vacation pay will be paid.
