AAG Construction Ltd. located in Surrey, BC is currently looking for a professional, detail oriented, and experienced Framer Carpenter to join our team.

Salary: $38.50 per hour
Work Location: Surrey, BC, and various other job sites in the Lower Mainland area (BC) as per the company’s contracts with its clients.

Job Responsibilities:
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings, perform calculations, and prepare layouts.
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials such as wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, channels and other materials.
• Work on new buildings, renovations, and additions to existing wooden structures in various stages of construction.
• Construct foundations, install floor beams, subflooring, wall systems, bulkheads, soffits, partitions and finish surfaces of woodwork.
• Secure framing components using screws, anchors, and fastening systems to concrete, wood, or structural steel.
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, moldings and hardware components.
• Supervise other construction workers at the site.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and adhere to site safety protocols.

Job Requirements:
• Completion of Secondary school would be considered an asset but not mandatory.
• Completion of an apprenticeship program in relevant trade OR minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in the trade
• Ability to communicate in English
