(Candidates are required to work at various locations in Lower Mainland, Greater Vancouver, and Fraser Valley as per company contracts.)
Wage rate: $39.00 per hour for 37.5 hours per week
Education: Not required
Experience: 2-3 years of experience
Language: English.
Job Duties:
• Perform all aspects of carpentry work including measuring and cutting materials, constructing structures, and installing fixtures.
• Demolition and site prep is occasionally required.
• Work with a wide range of tools including power saws, hammers, drills, and hand tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Install and maintain interior and exterior finishes such as, trim, siding, and roofing.
• Build and install counters, and other custom woodworking projects
• Estimate materials and labor costs for projects
• Ensure compliance with building codes and safety standards
• Collaborate with other team members and contractors as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Provide training and guidance to apprentice as needed
Working setting: The candidate should be available to work full-time in the day or evening or on weekends, if required.
Working Conditions: Candidate should be able to lift weight (50lbs). Should be willing to work outdoors, indoors, and all-weather conditions.
