Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time
Compensation: $36.60/hour
Hours of Work: 30 - 40 hours/week
Vacant: 6
Benefits: 4% of gross salary
Job Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to confirm specifications, measurements, and material requirements.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and install materials and components in accordance with site requirements and applicable standards.
- Fit and install trim and finishing components.
- Construct, set up, and install formwork in support of concrete operations.
- Strip, clean, and prepare formwork for re-use, ensuring proper handling, alignment, and jobsite safety.
- Frame interior partition walls as required.
- Coordinate with the site layout crew to confirm lines, elevations, and placement prior to framing or formwork installation.
- Supervise apprentices and helpers.
Job Requirements
- Education: Completion of secondary school.
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of related experience OR completion of a three to four-year apprenticeship program is required.
- Language: Functional English language is required for this position.
