Job Description:
• Monitor and support high-voltage formation processes, including charge and discharge cycles, to ensure stable equipment operation and consistent battery performance;
• Analyze Open Circuit Voltage (OCV) and Internal Resistance (IR) data to identify process deviations and support corrective actions for quality improvement;
• Utilize Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and related production systems to track equipment performance, analyze defect trends, and support data-driven decision-making;
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) on equipment alarms, process abnormalities, and production issues to implement effective corrective and preventive measures;
• Optimize mechanical systems and process parameters to improve production yield, reduce defect rates, and enhance overall process stability;
• Support installation, modification, and commissioning of formation and module manufacturing equipment to ensure proper integration with production processes;
• Coordinate with relevant teams to address technical issues and help maintain stable production operations;
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance strategies based on equipment performance data to minimize downtime and ensure long-term reliability;
• Provide technical guidance and training to production personnel and maintenance staff on equipment operation, troubleshooting, and process control procedures;
• Maintain and analyze equipment and production records to support continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with internal standards;
Job Requirements:
- An associate degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, Automation Technology, or a related technical field, OR at least five (5) years of practical work experience supporting lithium-ion battery manufacturing processes in a high-volume production environment
- Experience with manufacturing systems such as Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and familiarity with formation processes, including charge/discharge operations and battery performance analysis
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions
- Ability to support equipment troubleshooting, process optimization, and production stability in a high-volume manufacturing environment
- Effective communication skills and ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and maintenance personnel
