Head Office: Woodbridge, ON L4H 3T8
Work Location: Various construction sites throughout the Greater Toronto Area and surrounding regions. Frequent travel to project locations is required.
Key Responsibilities
Construct, assemble, install, and remove concrete formwork for foundations, walls, columns, slabs, stairs, and other structural concrete elements.
Prepare layouts in accordance with project drawings, specifications, and applicable building codes.
Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and install wood, engineered wood, lightweight steel, and other construction materials.
Prepare labour and material estimates for assigned work.
Survey building locations, elevations, and levels using measuring equipment.
Install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, hardware, and related structural components when required.
Ensure concrete forms are properly aligned and securely braced before concrete placement.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
Supervise and coordinate the work of 1–2 crew members as required.
Follow all company safety policies and construction best practices.
Qualifications
Secondary school diploma or equivalent experience.
3 to 5 years of experience as a Form Carpenter or Carpenter in the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of concrete formwork systems and construction methods.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, layout drawings, and project specifications.
Experience using construction measuring tools and hand tools.
Willingness to travel regularly to various job sites.
