Job Description:
Distinguished law firm seeks a Foreclosure savvy Associate Attorney to join its expanding New York group.
Candidate Must have the following: Minimum 5 years of working on residential and/or commercial foreclosure matters ; Experience in a law firm setting (experience will be current or very recent) ; Engagement in drafting pleadings, motions, and notices, and appearing in court ; Exposure to working with loan documents, title issues, and foreclosure sales.
Stellar academic credentials; Strong research, verbal & written communication skills, and analytic skills required ; NY Bar.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
-Representing a diverse clientele including owners, developers, not-for-profit organizations, educational institutions, sponsors, equity investors, and lenders.
-Handling foreclosure cases from start to finish.
-Reviewing loan docs and title reports.
-Drafting and filing foreclosure pleadings, motions, and notices.
-Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local foreclosure laws.
-Managing contested matters and settlements.
-Overseeing foreclosure sales and post-sale proceedings.
-Communicating with clients, courts, and opposing counsel.
