Job Description:
Mello is located at 223 Pender Street E., Vancouver, BC V6A 1T8. We are a currently looking for a permanent, full time Food Services Manager. If you are interested, please submit your resume by e-mail or mail.
Position: Food Services Manager
Wages: CAD$27.69-29.00/hour (depending on experience)
Types: Full-time, Permanent (various shifts, including evening, weekends, and holidays)
Working hours: 30- 40 hours/week
Benefits: 4% of vacation pay
Job Duties:
• Plan and control budget and inventory
• Determine type of foods to be offered and implement operational procedures
• Monitor revenues and modify procedures and prices
• Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
• Review and adjust staff schedule when necessary
• Recruit and oversee staff training and conduct performance reviews
• Resolve customer complaints and ensure provincial regulations are followed
• Manage catering and advertisements
Job Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school;
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in the food service sector including supervisory experience required.
• Completion of a college or other program related to hospitality or food and beverage service management is an asset.
