Job Description:
The Blind Angler Grill is looking for a Full-Time Food Services Manager (NOC 60030)! This is a full-time, permanent position with 30 hours per week.
Job Description:
• Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of Blind Angler Grill’s back of house operations
• Determine food production methods and implement operational procedures
• Recruit staff and oversee staff training in food preparation, sanitation and safety procedures
• Set back-of-house staff work schedules and monitor staff performance
• Control food inventory, monitor food costs and modify procedures to minimize waste and improve efficiency
• Ensure food quality, portion control and presentation standards are maintained
• Resolve operational issues and ensure health and safety regulations are followed in the kitchen
• Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other kitchen supplies
• Coordinate kitchen activities with front-of-house operations to ensure efficient service
• Oversee maintenance, cleanliness and safety of kitchen equipment and facilities.
Job Requirements:
• Completion of a college or other program related to hospitality or food and beverage service management
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the food service sector, including supervisory experience
• Language in the workplace is English
We offer
• $60,000 annual salary
