Job Description:
Kitwanga General Store is located at 1587 Kitwanga Road North, Kitwanga, BC V0J 2A0. We are currently looking for a permanent, full time Food Services Manager. If you are interested, please submit your application by e-mail.
Position: Food Services Manager
Wage: CAD$38.50 per hour
Types: Full-time, Permanent (various shifts, including weekends and holidays)
Working hours: 30~40 hours per week
Benefits: 4% vacation pay
Job Duties:
• Plan and control the budget and inventory of the food department.
• Determine type of foods to be offered and implement operational procedures.
• Monitor revenues and modify procedures and prices.
• Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies.
• Review and adjust staff schedule when necessary
• Recruit and oversee staff training and conduct performance reviews
• Resolve customer complaints and ensure provincial regulations are followed
• Manage catering services and promotional activities.
Job Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school is required
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in the food service sector including supervisory experience is required
• Completion of a college or other program related to hospitality or food and beverage service management is an asset.
• Language at work: English
