Job Description:
Sushi Sen Japanese Restaurant is located at 40382 Tantalus Rd., Garibaldi Highlands, BC V0N 1T0. We are currently looking for a permanent, full time Food Services Manager. If you are interested, please submit your resume by e-mail.
Position: Food Services Manager
Wages: CAD$27.00-37.00 /hour (depending on experiences)
Types: Full-time, Permanent
Working hours: 30-40 hours/week
Benefits: 4% of vacation pay
Job Duties:
• Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the daily operations
• Plan and control budget and inventory
• Determine type of foods to be offered and implement operational procedures
• Monitor revenues and modify procedures and prices
• Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
• Review and adjust staff schedule when necessary
• Recruit and oversee staff training, conduct performance reviews
• Resolve customer complaints and ensure provincial regulations are followed
• Hold staff meetings, resolve staff complaints and suggestions
• Negotiate with clients for catering or use of restaurant for events
• Manage catering, events, advertisements
Job Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school;
• 2-3 years of work experience in the food service sector including supervisory experience required.
• Completion of a college or other program related to hospitality or food and beverage service management an asset
Language at work: English
