Food Service Supervisor Job

R&J Skys Incorporated O/A A&W Restaurant is hiring seven (7) Food Service Supervisors for permanent, full-time positions at our location in The Pas, Manitoba.

Business Location: 1226 Gordon Avenue, The Pas, Manitoba, R9A 1L6.

The Food Service Supervisors shall be responsible for, but not limited to, the following job tasks:

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Supervise and co-ordinate duties and activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
• Supervise food preparation and service to ensure quality control standards are met.
• Ensure that kitchen equipment is always in good working order
• Train and supervise staff to perform job duties effectively.
• Train staff in job duties and sanitation and safety procedures.
• Ensure health and safety standards are followed.
• Supervise staff work schedules & maintain detailed records of work schedules
• Supervise and check assembly of trays
• Resolve customer complaints and concerns.
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
• Estimate and order ingredients and supplies

Skills, Experience and Education Required:

• Completion of a college program in food service administration, hotel and restaurant management, or a related discipline, or 1 to 2 years of experience in food preparation or food service is required.
• Previous supervisory or managerial experience is considered an asset.
• Good communication skills in English

Wage and Hours: $17.50 per hour, 40 hours per week, overtime pay after 44 hours per week
