J.M. Hillside Holdings Ltd. dba Subway in Victoria, BC is looking for an experienced, skilled, Full-Time Permanent Food Service Supervisor.

Conditions:
• Position: Food Service Supervisor (NOC 62020)
• Status: Full-Time, Permanent
• Wage: $20.15 per hour
• Working hours: 30 - 40 hours per week
• Shifted Schedule
• Ability to do shift work (daytime, evenings, weekends, and holidays)
• Vacation: 4% gross salary
• Benefit: Gratuities
• Positions Available: 1

Requirements:
• Education: Completion of secondary school (post-secondary degree is an asset but not mandatory)
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in food preparation or service. Previous supervisory experience in the hospitality industry is considered an asset but is not required.
• Language: English

Job Duties:
• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
• Supervise and check the assembly of trays and the delivery of the food trolley
• Estimate and order ingredients and supplies
• Establish work schedules
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
• Resolve customer complaints or concerns
