Food Service Supervisor Job

We are currently seeking a Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Dairy Queen Grill & Chill located at SK-35 & 12th Ave W, Nipawin, SK, S0E 1E0. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising staff, maintaining food quality and safety standards, and ensuring efficient day-to-day operations of the store.

Key Responsibilities:
Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion, and serve food
Estimate and order ingredients and supplies
Prepare food order summaries for the chef based on customer orders
Establish work schedules and procedures
Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
Ensure food and service meet quality control standards

Compensation and Hours:
Wage: $16.00 per hour
Hours: 32 hours per week, full-time
Overtime: $24.00 per hour (after 8 hours/day or 40 hours/week
Vacation Pay: 2 weeks/year or 4% as per provincial standards

Job Requirements:
Completion of Secondary School (Required)
At least 1 year of experience in food service or in a supervisory role
Ability to supervise and lead a team in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and organizational skills
Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to food service in Saskatchewan
