Food Service Supervisor Job

Elkford Motor Inn is seeking a motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. The successful candidate will help maintain high standards of food quality, customer service, and workplace safety while supporting a productive team environment.

Your duties and responsibilities will include the following:
• Coordinate and supervise the daily activities of food service staff.
• Schedule staff to ensure efficient restaurant operations and adequate coverage.
• Train employees on food preparation procedures, sanitation standards, workplace safety, and customer service.
• Monitor food quality and service standards to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Estimate food, ingredient, and supply requirements.
• Order food products, kitchen supplies, and other inventory as required.
• Assist with preparing budgets and monitoring food costs.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, sales, waste, and equipment repairs.
• Prepare food order summaries and operational reports.
• Respond professionally to customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints.
• Support a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with health regulations.

Requirements:
• Completion of Secondary School
• At least 3 years of relevant working experience
• Valid Food Safety Certificate.
• Responsible Beverage Service Certificate.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and customer service skills.
• Dependable, flexible, and able to work collaboratively with others.

Work Environment:
• On-site position (remote work is not available).
• Hotel and restaurant setting.
• Combination of standing, walking, and sitting throughout the shift.
• Fast-paced work environment.
