Job title: Food Service Supervisor (NOC 62020)
Wage: $18.00/hour
Work hours: Monday-Sunday, 35 hours/week

Vacation: 2 weeks of paid vacation per annum or remuneration of 4% of basic salary

Job duties

Supervise and coordinate the activities of restaurant staff during daily operations.
Assign duties and work schedules to food service workers.
Ensure food is prepared and served according to restaurant standards.
Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed.
Train new employees on food preparation, service procedures, and workplace policies.
Assist with resolving customer concerns and maintaining good customer service.
Monitor inventory and assist with ordering food, supplies, and other materials.
Check food and supply deliveries and ensure items are stored properly.
Maintain records of food, supplies, and daily operations.
Help coordinate opening and closing procedures.
Ensure the restaurant and work areas are clean, organized, and maintained.
Assist with other duties as required to support smooth restaurant operations.

Job requirements
Completion of secondary school is a must.
A college diploma in accounting, bookkeeping or a related field is preferred.
Previous supervisory or team-lead experience is an asset.
Knowledge of food preparation, food safety, and sanitation procedures.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Ability to supervise and coordinate staff in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
