Job Description
Establish methods to meet work schedules.
Requisition food and kitchen supplies.
Requisition drink and bar supplies.
Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures.
Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal and drink preparation.
Hire food service staff.
Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
Address customers' complaints or concerns.
Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage.
Prepare food order summaries for chef.
Supervise and check assembly of trays.
Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys.

Education: Completion of high school.
Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in food preparation or service is required. If the candidate does not have 2 years of experience, a post-secondary certificate in food service administration, hotel and restaurant management or a related discipline is required.
Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Standing for extended periods, Attention to detail.
Personal suitability: Client focus, Efficient interpersonal skills, Flexibility, Team player, Initiative, Dependability.
Supervision: 11-15 people. Food service counter attendants and food preparers. Staff in various areas of responsibility.
Language: English is required
Salary: $17.50 per hour, 35-44 Hours per week.
Benefits: Free parking available. Employees receive a 15% discount on our products and stores. Transportation costs covered if workers needs to relocate.
Important information:
This position will require working 8-hour shifts between 9:30 AM to 9:00 PM in winter time and between 9:30 AM to 11:00 PM during summer. 1-2 days off per week provided on a rotational basis. Flexibility on schedule is required.
