JOB DETAILS
Salary: $21.66 hourly for 30 to 40 hours per week
Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time
Employment conditions: Early Morning, Evening, Shift, Morning, Day, Weekend
Start date: Starts as soon as possible
Vacancies: 2 vacancies
Benefits: Other benefits - One free meal on site for each shift
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Languages: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 1 year
Work setting: Food service establishment, Fast food outlet or concession
Specific Tasks/Responsibilities:
• Establish methods to meet work schedules.
• Requisition of food and kitchen supplies.
• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures.
• Estimate ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation.
• Hire food service staff.
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
• Prepare budget and cost estimates.
• Address customers' complaints or concerns.
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage.
• Prepare and submit reports.
• Must have knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres.
• Establish work schedules.
• Perform cashiering duties.
Ability to Supervise: 5 to 10 people
Workers Supervised: Food service counter attendants and food preparers, Kitchen and food service helpers, Staff in various areas of responsibility
Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Standing for extended periods, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Walking, Physically demanding, Attention to detail.
