Job Description
Sunridge restaurant located across the parking lot from Westridge Motor Inn offer tasty breakfasts and brunch that has become mainstay for both locals and tourists. We are currently seeking one full-time, permanent Food and Beverage Service Manager.
Job Duties
• Plan, organize, direct and evaluate the operations of a quick-service restaurant specializing in breakfast services
• Determine food service offerings and implement operational procedures for efficient preparation and pickup of breakfast skillets, Eggs Benedict, pancakes, burgers and other menu items
• Recruit, train, supervise and evaluate kitchen and customer service staff to ensure friendly and efficient service.
• Prepare staff work schedules and monitor employee performance to maintain smooth daily operations during peak service periods
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate purchasing of food products, beverages and restaurant supplies to maintain quality and cost control
• Control operational costs, monitor revenues and adjust procedures and pricing strategies to maintain profitability while offering generous portions and reasonable prices
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, health and workplace safety regulations
• Resolve customer complaints and maintain high customer satisfaction through prompt and courteous service
• Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food ingredients, packaging materials and restaurant supplies
• Oversee food preparation, order handling and customer service operations to maintain quality standards and operational efficiency
• Support promotional and customer service initiatives to strengthen the restaurant’s reputation and encourage repeat business
Employment Requirements
• A university degree or two years college diploma in is typically required.
• At least 2 years of management experience is required.
• Excellent communication skills written and oral English are required.
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Demonstrated ability to increase revenue and profitability
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle and resolve customer complaints and issues
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays
