We are currently looking for professional EXPERIENCED floor and tile installer supervisor to join our Team. As we cover the whole of British Columbia, candidates must be able to travel all over British Columbia.
Job Title: Flooring and Tiling Supervisor (NOC 72014)
Job duties
• Supervise, coordinate and schedule the activities of construction workers engaged in floor covering and Tiling installation and its helpers.
• Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities with other subcontractors
• Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
• Requisition materials and supplies
• Train workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies
• Recommend personnel actions such as hirings and promotions
• Prepare work progress reports
• May also supervise, coordinate and schedule the activities of related floor installers, tile installers, subcontractors, apprentices, helpers and labourers.
Requirements
• Completion of Secondary School
• Be able to speak English
• Must have at least 4-5 years of direct experience in installing various flooring or tiling such as resilient, glue down, click, ceramic tiles, subfloor preparation etc. and at least 1 year experience in supervising.
• Willing to travel to sites in British Columbia
• Must have a Canadian driver’s license
Position Details:
Position Available: Floor and Tile Installer Supervisor (NOC 72014)
Terms of Employment: Full Time
Working Hours: 30-40 hours per week from Monday to Saturday (Flexible depending on customer)
Salary: $37.50 per hour
