We are currently looking for professional EXPERIENCED flooring and tiling project manager to join our Team. As we cover the whole of British Columbia, candidates must be able to travel all over British Columbia.
Job Title: Flooring and Tiling Project Manager (NOC 70010)
Job duties
-Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate flooring and tiling projects from start to finish according to schedule, specifications and budget
-Prepare and submit flooring and tiling project budget estimates
-Plan and prepare flooring and tiling schedules and milestones and monitor progress against established schedules
-Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers and subcontractors
-Develop and implement quality control programs
-Represent company on matters such as business services.
-Prepare progress reports and issue progress schedules to clients
-Direct the purchase of building materials
-Hire and supervise the activities of subcontractors and subordinate staff.
Requirements
-Completion of at least a bachelor’s degree or higher related to management or construction.
-Be able to speak English
-Must have at least 2 years experience in managing projects in flooring and tiling preferably 5 years.
-Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
-Able to operate STACK take-off and estimating software
-Able to cost and calculate proper quantity of flooring and tiling materials and its accessories per project
-Has good knowledge in quality standards for flooring and tiling.
-Willing to travel to sites in British Columbia Must have a British Columbia driver’s license

Working Hours: 30-40 hours per week from Monday to Sunday (Flexible depending on customer)
Salary: $44.75 per hour
