Position: Floor covering Supervisor
Wage: $40.00 per hour, 30 to 40 hours
Job Duties:
1. Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of floor covering installers to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
2. Assign work schedules, monitor installation progress, and adjust manpower to meet project timelines and operational requirements.
3. Review project specifications, provide technical guidance to installers, and resolve on-site installation issues.
4. Inspect completed flooring installations to ensure workmanship meets company quality standards and customer expectations.
5. Estimate material requirements, coordinate deliveries, and monitor inventory levels of flooring products, tools, and installation supplies.
6. Train and mentor installation staff on company procedures, installation techniques, equipment operation, and workplace safety practices.
7. Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations by conducting regular site inspections and addressing potential hazards.
8. Communicate with customers regarding project schedules, installation progress, and any site-specific requirements, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the project.

Requirements:
• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• 2 years to less than 3 years of work experience
