Floor covering installer Job

-Inspecting and accurately measuring residential floors and surfaces to prepare them for new coverings, in alignment with the project’s restoration goals.
-Removing existing flooring and discarding this material, ensuring spaces are clean and ready for improvement.
-Measuring, marking, cutting, and installing new floor coverings such as carpet and hardwood, ensuring a high-end finish.
-Utilizing adhesives, nails, staples, and power tools to securely and safely install flooring materials in line with company quality standards.
-Clean up leftover adhesives, mop up floors, inspect finished products for flaws and replace any defective flooring material.

-High school diploma preferred.
-Minimum 7 months to 2 years of hands-on experience in floor covering installation, renovation, construction, or a related trade.
-Basic familiarity with measuring tools, flooring materials, adhesives, or installation tools is required.
-On-the-job training will be provided to build on existing skills, improve techniques, and ensure compliance with company standards and safety procedures.
-Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver clean, professional finishes.
-Physically capable of lifting materials, kneeling, bending, standing for extended periods, and performing repetitive tasks.
-Flexible availability, including weekends when required.
