Position: Early Childhood Educator
Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
Wage: $20.00~$23.00/hour (depending on experience)
Working Hours: 30~40 hours/week
Number of Positions: 2
Work Location: Unit 101 & 102, 8431 160 Street, Surrey, BC V4N 0V6

Job Duties:
Engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs and preparing crafts
Develop and implement child-care programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children
Taking children for outdoor activities or field trips to local points of interest
Prepare reports for parents or supervisor regarding potential learning or behavioural problems
Guide children the development of healthy eating, proper dressing and toilet habits
Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children
Maintain an environment to protect health, security and well-being of children
Co-ordinate activities of other ECE teachers and ECE assistants
Job requirements:
Language: English
Experience: Experience is an asset
Education: College Certificate or diploma in early childhood education is required
Certificate: First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, ECE Certificate
