Wage: $36.00 /hour, Permanent, Full-time, 40 hours/week

Job duties:
• Prepare fresh fish for sashimi by expertly slicing and cutting using traditional Japanese techniques.
• Weigh, package, label, and present sashimi-grade fish products for dine-in and take-out customers, ensuring accuracy.
• Offer recommendations on sashimi selections based on customer preferences and availability.
• Conduct thorough inspections of fish quality, ensuring adherence to freshness standards and proper handling techniques.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of cutting equipment, display areas, and workstations to uphold hygiene standards.
• Receive and store fresh fish merchandise, following strict protocols to preserve freshness and prevent contamination.
• Adhere to government health and safety regulations and uphold occupational standards to ensure a safe working environment for all staff and customers.
Job Requirements:
Experience and Education requirements:
• Completion of secondary school
• 1-7 months relevant experience.
