• Carefully follow each child’s allergy information and dietary instructions to prevent allergic reactions and cross-contamination.
• Prepare menus, determine portion sizes, estimate food requirements, and order supplies as needed.
• Supervise kitchen operations and kitchen helpers.
• Maintain food, supply, equipment, and inventory records.
• Follow proper food handling, sanitation, storage, and cleaning procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe kitchen and work area.
• May hire and train kitchen staff.
