Sushi Mura is currently seeking a qualified First Cook to lead kitchen operations and food preparation.

Working Hours: 30-40 hours per week
Benefit(s): 10 days’ paid vacation/year or 4% of gross salary
Responsibilities:
-Prepare and cook a variety of Japanese dishes and oversee daily food production.
-Coordinate and assist kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and timely service.
-Monitor food quality, portion control, and presentation standards.
-Provide guidance and training to kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food safety, and kitchen procedures.
-Assist in menu development, recipe standardization, and seasonal feature items.
-Manage inventory, ordering, and proper storage of food supplies.
-Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
-Maintain kitchen productivity and quality standards during high-volume service periods.
Requirements:
- Completion of high school
- Minimum 3 years’ work experience as a cook
- English
