Regal Exterior Ltd. located in Surrey, BC is currently looking for a professional, detail-oriented and experienced Finish Carpenter to join their growing team and to be able to work at various locations in Lower Mainland areas of BC.

Salary: $30.00 per hour
Work location(s): Various Locations in Surrey (BC) & other areas in Lower Mainland (BC).

Job duties:

• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to determine specifications and calculate requirements.
• Prepare layouts using different measuring tools.
• Precisely measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join wood, and wood substitute materials.
• Finish surface of woodwork in houses and buildings, using hand tools and paneling.
• Work on new projects, remodels or additions to existing wooden structures.
• Fit and install different trim items such as doors, stairs, moulding, etc. as required.
• Supervise carpenter helpers and follow safety rules and regulations.

Position Requirements:

• Completion of an apprenticeship program in relevant trade OR minimum 3 years of work experience in the Carpentry trade
• Ability to communicate in English.

Note:
• If any of the current employees of Regal Exterior makes a referral that results into a hire, the company will pay $500.00 CAD to that employee.
• Financial assistance for relocation from other cities, provinces or regions will be provided for up to $1000.00 CAD for qualified and selected candidates.
