Position: Finish Carpenter
Working Hours: 30hrs per week (possible overtime needed)
Work Shift: It can be daytime, weekends and/or holidays
Wage: $37 per hour

Up North Installations Ltd. is a professional cabinet and millwork installation company based in Vancouver, BC. They specialize in multi-residential developments and finish carpentry, frequently operating out of Langley, BC.

Main duties:
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements
• Measure, cut, fit, and install finished wood products and millwork components
• Install kitchen cabinets, vanities, countertops, shelving, doors, trim, baseboards, and other interior finish carpentry materials
• Assemble and install custom cabinetry and prefabricated millwork according to design specifications
• Ensure proper alignment, fit, and finishing of installed products to maintain quality standards
• Perform adjustments, repairs, and finishing work on completed installations as required
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete installation projects
• Coordinate with project managers, site supervisors, and other trades to ensure timely completion of work
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and comply with workplace safety regulations
• Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with company standards and client requirements
Employment Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school is usually required
• Completion of a three- to four-year apprenticeship program or A combination of over four years of work experience in the trade and some high school, college or industry courses in carpentry is usually required to be eligible for trade certification
