In this entry-to-mid-level role, you will work closely with clients to review their current financial situations, identify gaps in their insurance coverage, and help them implement foundational savings plans. Key Responsibilities

• Client Consultation: Meet with individuals and families to evaluate their current household budgets, long-term savings goals, and financial needs.
• Plan Development: Utilize modern planning software to generate customized personal finance outlines and retirement strategies for clients.
• Income Protection Allocation: Educate clients on standard term life insurance options and facilitate the setup of policies to protect family income.
• Account Coordination: Assist clients in establishing foundational savings and investment vehicles, such as mutual funds and individual retirement accounts (IRAs).
• Account Reviews: Conduct scheduled annual reviews with existing clients to update their strategies as their families grow or their professional situations change.

Position Requirements & Qualifications

• Background Check: Must be able to pass a standard state licensing background check and fingerprinting process (No financial felonies or active, unresolved bankruptcies).
• Licensing: Ability to study for and obtain required state Life & Health Insurance licenses. Meriwether Finances provides comprehensive study materials, structured prep courses, and exam sponsorship for qualified candidates.
• Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong focus on customer service and clear verbal communication.
• Experience: No prior financial sector experience is required. We highly value professional backgrounds in education, customer service, retail management, military service, or hospitality.

Compensation & Salary Structure

• Target First-Year Income: $45,000 – $75,000 / year target.
• Structure: This position offers a balanced compensation model featuring upfront revenue for setting up client accounts, paired with long-term residual renewals that build steady, passive income over time.
• Incentives: Eligible for weekly production bonuses, leadership overrides, and annual corporate travel rewards for meeting clear performance benchmarks.
