As our organization continues to expand, we are seeking a Financial Analyst to support strategic financial planning, evaluate organizational performance, and provide financial insights that assist management in making informed operational and investment decisions.
Position: Financial Analyst

Position Summary:
The Financial Analyst is responsible for analyzing financial performance, preparing forecasts and financial models, monitoring budgets, and evaluating operational results. Working closely with senior management, the successful candidate will provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations that support organizational growth, business planning, operational efficiency, and long-term financial sustainability.
Main Responsibilities:
• Collect, review, and interpret financial information, including operating results, budgets, forecasts, cash flow data, and key performance indicators, to evaluate organizational financial performance and financial position, identify financial risks and opportunities, and prepare analytical reports and recommendations for senior management.
• Prepare and monitor annual operating and capital budgets, develop short- and long-term financial forecasts and cash flow projections, analyze budget variances, and recommend corrective actions to support organizational financial objectives.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance financial models, forecasting tools, and analytical methodologies to evaluate capital expenditures, business expansion initiatives, investment opportunities, and other strategic financial projects.
• Perform financial and economic analyses to assess the financial feasibility of new childcare centre developments, acquisitions, facility improvements, and other business initiatives, and prepare recommendations to support management's investment decisions.
• Participate in financial planning activities relating to contracts, financing arrangements, and government funding programs, including childcare grants and subsidies; prepare financial analyses supporting funding applications and financing initiatives, and communicate with financial institutions and funding agencies regarding financial matters.
• Analyze operational and financial data, including enrolment trends, tuition revenue, labour costs, occupancy rates, receivables, and operating expenses, to evaluate business performance, identify trends, and support strategic planning.
• Evaluate financial reports, operating results, and performance indicators to identify financial trends, assess financial risks, recommend strategies to improve financial performance, and support effective financial decision-making.
• Prepare financial reports, management presentations, and analytical summaries that communicate financial results, forecasts, risks, and strategic recommendations to support executive decision-making.
• Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of financial policies, analytical methodologies, reporting procedures, and financial planning processes to strengthen financial management and operational efficiency.
• Conduct market research and economic analysis relating to industry conditions, government funding programs, demographic trends, and other external factors that may influence the organization's financial performance and long-term business planning.

Skills Requirements:
• Strong knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, cash flow management, and financial modeling.
• Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate complex financial information and develop practical business recommendations.
• Advanced proficiency in Oracle NetSuite ERP, Microsoft Excel (including Power Query, PivotTables, advanced formulas, and financial modeling), Microsoft Power BI, and Anaplan is required.
