Financial Analyst Job

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role requires someone who is dependable, hardworking, and a team player. You will assist in various financial forecasting tasks, helping to collect and analyze financial information
Responsibilities:
1. Apply working knowledge of the company’s information systems & appropriate financial tools and systems to find, extract, and analyze data and to produce reports.
2. Track and evaluate the company’s revenue streams, looking for opportunities to increase income and improve profitability.
3. Apply modelling, forecasting and planning techniques to develop forecasts with cost drivers identified and explained.
4. Assist in creating annual budgets, ensuring that they align with the company’s strategic goals. They monitor actual performance against the budget and analyze variances.
5. Advise on the financial structuring of contracts, including pricing models, payment schedules, and penalties for non-compliance. Provide data-driven insights to support the company’s position.
6. Work closely with IT and product teams to ensure that the financial aspects of payment solutions, such as transaction processing costs and revenue models, are optimized and aligned with business objectives.
7. Identify and evaluate financial risks, such as currency fluctuations, credit risks, or changes in regulatory environments. Develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
8. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and economic indicators that could impact the payment solutions industry, helping the company stay ahead of market changes and innovate accordingly.
9. By analyzing the financial feasibility of new products or services, this role supports our innovation efforts, ensuring that new offerings are financially viable and aligned with market demand.
Work Environment:
1. Standard office environment

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in commerce, business administration, accounting, finance or above. 2.MBA or relevant certificate (e.g., CPA, CFA) is a plus.
1. Minimum 1-2 years of proven work experience in financial analysis, preferably within the payment solutions, fintech, or financial services industry.
2. Solid knowledge of the concepts, principles, practices, and techniques pertaining to all aspects of financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
3. Strong business case analysis experience. 6.Strong financial modelling and Excel skills. 7.Strong project management skills.
