New Age Granite and Marble Group is a specialty distributor of natural stone. The company deals with high quality Granite, Marble, Quartzite, Quartz, Onyx, Limestone and Travertine imported from all over the world.
At this time, we are looking for a Financial Analyst to join our team. This position requires a strong analytical background with the ability to analyze and consolidate financial results for reporting to senior management.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct research and analysis of industry-specific business trends and economic forecasts to collect information which can be applied towards recommendations as to how to maximize profits
- Assess financial performance and analyze processes to identify gaps that can improve profit margins
- Perform monthly profit and loss closing process
- Prepare cash flow and financial analysis of value-creation opportunities
- Participate in annual budget preparation and cost saving activities
- Prepare analytical reports and proposals to support the management in making solid strategic business decisions
- Maintain research and transaction database
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or Economics
- Master’s degree in Finance is a strong asset
- Relevant experience in financial analysis is an asset
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Fluent English
WORK CONDITIONS
- Permanent, full-time position
- $40.10 per hour
- 30 hours of work per week
- Overtime pay ($60.15/ hour) applies after 44 hours of work per week
