Finance Director/Treasurer Job

This position plans, organizes, directs, and oversees all aspects of the Town’s financial accounting, debt management, treasury functions, budget preparation and administration, and payroll, in accordance with applicable laws, rules, and procedures. In addition, this position supervises, mentors, and empowers the Finance Department staff, and performs the responsibilities of the Office of Treasurer as set forth in Section 60.34 of the Wisconsin Statutes. Eight (8) or more years of progressive experience in accounting and financial work with at least two (2) years of supervisory experience. A CPA or CPFO designation and governmental experience are preferred.
