Finance Associate Job

JOB DUTIES: Assist in assessing financial system requirements by analyzing the complexity of cash management processes, transaction volumes, and automation capabilities. Engage with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot discrepancies, enhance automation and streamline reconciliation workflows. Identify financial risks and suggest mitigation strategies such as credit control adjustments and contract redesign, backed by data analysis and behavioral trends. Monitor and collect accounts receivable and generate invoices in accordance with contract terms and GAAP guidelines which support cash flow accuracy. Analyze cash flow trends, reconciliation inefficiencies, and system performance reports to identify quality gaps in financial processes. Prepare analytical and ratio analyses relevant to Account Receivable, using ratios such as DSO (Days Sales Outstanding), turnover and aging trends. Employ financial models to develop solutions to financial problems and to assess the financial impact of transactions. Build and apply dynamic financial models (e.g., NPV, ROI, scenario analysis) to evaluate transaction impacts and recommend actionable strategies for cost control and revenue optimization. Prepare regular financial reports using Xero platform for management and stakeholders, integrating GAAP compliance, variance analysis and strategic KPIs. Conduct financial analysis utilizing knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), including recognizing revenue, matching expenses and maintaining audit-ready documentation for all reporting cycles.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration with concentration in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a closely related field, and one (1) year of experience in the Job Offered or one (1) year of experience in the field of financial analysis.

SPECIAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS: Experience must include the following: ability to conduct financial analysis and apply financial models to evaluate transaction impacts; knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices, including GAAP; preparing financial reports and forecasts; proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial analysis and reporting; performing accounts receivable and credit control functions, including invoicing, collections, and monitoring outstanding balances.
