Responsibilities
Job Requirements:
Perform on-site maintenance and repairs for production print equipment.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize production downtime.
Conduct regular inspections and implement preventive maintenance procedures.
Install, configure, and calibrate production print machinery for optimal performance.
Collaborate closely with clients, delivering outstanding customer service and support.
On-site service of MFPs
Maintain parts and call management as well as accurate records to achieve KPI targets
Responsible to learn new technologies, maintain accurate records and assist other team members as required
10% - Lead referrals, assists with customer assessments and solution design
90% - break-fix and customer support
Seeks opportunities to improve territory parts budget and inventory control
Perform other relevant duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in servicing and repairing Canon and Konica Minolta equipment and production print machinery.
Proficient in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting within a production print environment.
Familiarity with a variety of production print technologies and systems including Canon and Konica Minolta
Exceptional communication skills and a strong customer service orientation.
Ability to work independently and adapt to diverse client environments
Network Skills:
Install and troubleshooting of basic printing and scanning solutions.
Microsoft OS peer to peer and client side of server environments
Familiar with printing from common business apps
Solutions Knowledge: Basic understanding of solutions portfolio
Product Knowledge: Excellent working knowledge and certification of production systems
Color Skills: Working knowledge of calibration, and RIP configurations
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written and interpersonal
Mentoring and Instruction: 10% - based on technical expertise
Pre/Post Consulting Ability: Moderate
Working directions: Requires limited assistance for more difficult problems
Must have previous experience in servicing Canon and Konica Minolta equipment
HP Wide format experience and asset
Must be positive, outgoing, self-motivated and committed to building and maintaining strong customer relations
Travelling within Canada. Candidate must provide & maintain valid travel documents at own
expense
Own vehicle and possess valid insurance with appropriate coverage and a valid drivers’ license in good standing
Standby and afterhours work may be required
Training may require afterhours travel and stay overs including weekends
