Job Duties
^ Provide the required field start-up and commissioning support for ADB Safegate products;
* Perform the commissioning, service and training on electrical systems for both ICAO and FAA product versions, as well as service and train on aircraft docking systems for both ICAO and FAA product versions;
* Providing on-site expertise during commissioning and installation;
Perform both in house and field testing and customer validation testing, as well as to perform both factory and on-site software configuration of electrical and computer systems;
* Provide both factory and on-site testing support for internal management systems;
* Assist customers, both internal and external, in isolating defects in the field or in-house by troubleshooting over the phone or dispatching to the field as required; perform / assist in System Acceptance Testing and formal customer walk through as needed;
* Perform preventative maintenance tasks per contract and (SLA) Service Level Agreement in strict adherence to company policies and taking into account the unique nature of complex proprietary systems and pre-defined metrics determined in contract;
* Generate and support technical documentation, including trip reports, training documentation as needed, review of product manuals;
* Review and red-line project drawing packages and systems schematics as needed.
* Perform technical training classes for ADB Safegate products to our team members and external customers as needed; and
* Communicate/promote company image to the airport lighting industry during system installation and training.
Wage: CAD $101,000 – CAD $110,000 per annum

Formal Education & Certification
• Completion of a two or three-year college or technical program in electrical or electronics systems, computer engineering technology, telecommunications technology or 2-3 years of equivalent experience.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license.
• Must maintain an insurable driving record.
Knowledge & Experience
• Minimum, 2 -3 years in Airfield Ground Lighting and Control Systems and/or Gate Docking system or related experience is required.
• Knowledge of FAA, ICAO and TP312 specifications, procedures and regulations as it pertains to airfield lighting and controls is mandatory.
• 2-3 years’ experience working in a field service position is required.
• 2-3 years of Customer Service experience is required.
• Must be available and able to travel internationally as required. 75f time traveling across Canada to client sites.
• Minimum 2-3 Years of servicing or supporting PLC systems is required.
Physical Demands
• Regularly required to sit and talk or hear.
• Ability to stand, walk for extended periods of time
• Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms.
• Ability to lift and /or move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to drive an airport vehicle, contractor vehicle or rental vehicle.
• Ability to climb ladders.
• Ability to traverse rough terrains.
• Ability to travel to field locations.
• Specific vision abilities required include color, close vision, distance vision, depth perceptions, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Hand and eye coordination adequate to input computer, operate typewriter, calculator and other office equipment.
• Ability to make and receive phone calls.
• Ability to operate two-way radio.
• Visual stamina and acuity adequate to review alpha/numeric data and to spend long periods looking at computer screen.
