Fiber Optic Cable Pulling Helper Job

V Services Corp is looking for a reliable local helper to assist our aerial fiber optic construction crew on a project in Falmouth, Massachusetts.

This is a temporary, part-time, on-call position. Work is scheduled as needed, approximately 4–5 hours per shift. Daily work is not guaranteed.

Responsibilities:

Assist the crew with feeding fiber optic cable from the reel during aerial cable installation

Monitor cable movement to ensure safe and smooth pulling operations

Help prevent cable tangling, snagging, or excessive tension

Follow crew instructions and safety procedures

Assist with other related tasks as needed

Pay & Schedule:

$25 per hour

Approximately 4–5 hours per shift

Flexible, on-call schedule

Work available as needed, not every day

Temporary position for the duration of the project

Requirements:

Must live in Falmouth, MA, or within commuting distance

Reliable transportation to the job site

Ability to perform physical outdoor work

Ability to follow safety instructions

Flexible availability

Previous construction experience is a plus but not required
