Job Overview

ARE Telecommunications is hiring Drop Bury Technicians for Comcast operations in Gadsden, AL.

This is a field-based role focused on completing underground and aerial drop buries, restoring service paths, and ensuring clean, professional work. We’re looking for reliable techs who can work independently and handle physical outdoor work.

Responsibilities -
Complete Comcast drop bury work (underground and aerial)
Run and bury coax lines from tap to customer premise
Perform trenching, routing, and proper line placement
Restore work areas after completion (yard repair, cleanup, etc.)
Ensure all work meets Comcast quality and safety standards
Communicate job status and completion updates
Maintain productivity and complete assigned workload

Requirements (READ BEFORE APPLYING) -
? Drop bury or construction experience preferred (telecom strongly preferred)
? Ability to perform manual labor in outdoor conditions
? Must have your own vehicle and basic tools
? Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
? Ability to pass background check and drug screening
