Supreme China Bistro is a well-established Chinese and Thai fast-casual restaurant located in Victoria Square Shopping Centre in Regina, Saskatchewan. The restaurant provides dine-in, takeout, catering, and city-wide delivery services and is known for its affordable menu, generous portions, and fast-paced customer service environment.
Language Requirement: English
Education Requirement: College/CEGEP or equivalent experience
Experience Requirement:
1 year to less than 2 years in restaurant or food service supervision/management
Job Duties
• Oversee the daily operations of a busy fast-casual Chinese and Thai restaurant
• Coordinate kitchen and front counter activities to ensure efficient food preparation and customer service during peak hours
• Monitor food quality, portion control, cleanliness, and presentation standards
• Schedule, supervise, and support restaurant staff in both kitchen and customer service areas
• Assist with hiring and training new employees, including youth and entry-level workers
• Help create a positive and inclusive workplace environment for young workers and diverse staff members
• Track inventory levels and coordinate ordering of food ingredients, packaging supplies, and cleaning materials
• Work with suppliers and delivery partners to maintain smooth restaurant operations
• Handle customer feedback, service issues, and special requests professionally
• Monitor sales performance, labour costs, and operational expenses to support profitability
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace health and safety requirements
• Support promotional activities, seasonal menu promotions, and local marketing initiatives
• Assist with takeout, delivery coordination, and catering order management as needed
Work conditions and capabilities
The candidate needs to work in a busy restaurant environment and be able to handle a fast-paced workload while paying close attention to detail. He or she should be comfortable standing for extended periods and multitasking throughout daily operations. The ideal candidate should also be dependable, organized, flexible, client-focused, and able to communicate effectively, work well in a team, and perform independently when required.
