Job Description:
Create clothing designs using computer-aided design programs (CAD, Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, etc.); Plan the line according to MSK Apparel, Inc(dba: THE VINTAGE SHOP)’s style plans, sales needs, and emerging trends; Develop styling details fabrics, wash finishes, color palettes, and special trims; Purchase new or used clothing as needed to complete designs; Draw patterns for clothing designs, cut materials according to the patterns while using measuring instruments provided by the company; Assist in fit sessions with Senior Fashion Director and Pattern-makers; Update sketches and Tech Packs according to fit session revisions; Illustrate, color and spec original garments within multiple categories that reflect the company’s brand direction as well as fulfilling merchandising and business needs, etc.
