You do not need prior experience, as we will provide you with on-the-job training.

Position: Farm Worker

Salary: $15.65 per hour

Job Responsibilities

• Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops.
• Harvest crops by hand or with the use of machinery.
• Prepare the crops for shipment by packing and grading them.
• Clean up racks, trays, and harvest bins and general clean-up of packing areas.
• Pruning and thinning, weeding, repairing drip lines, and applying sawdust as needed.
• Make use of basic farming tools, maintain them, and store them properly after each use.
• Examine produce for quality and prepare for market.
• Unload, load, and transfer crates, supplies, and farm products.
• Other farm-related duties as required.

Job Requirements

• No experience required; we will train.
• Ability to work long hours, early morning, and weekends.
• Ability to work in various work environments such as wet, damp, dust and cold etc.
• Ability to work in fast paced environment which may be physically demanding.
• No education and language requirements.
Benefits: Accommodation will be provided at $30/week (if required). Relocation expenses & private health insurance covered by the employer until the worker is covered by the appropriate provincial health insurance plan. Transportation facility will be provided to the workers from their residence to the farm by the employer.
