Farm Worker - Harvesting Job

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Plant new bulbs and seeds; perform grafting for the plants and move seedlings and rooted cuttings; prepare fresh soil
• Spray pesticides on trees, shrubs and other plants to prevent diseases
• Fertilize the soil
• Water plants and fields through sprinkler and irrigation systems, and check the greenhouse
• Prepare the plants, buds, shrubs for sale
• Clean the fields and surrounding areas

Requirement:
• Experience an asset.

• 30-40 hours per week

The Lidu Ecological Park Ltd. is an organic vegetable production facility that housed a 70,000 square feet greenhouse facility and a 40,000 square feet outdoor farmland. The greenhouse facility uses specialized NFT hydroponic vertical farming greenhouse to provide high yield, high quality, and high profit organic tomatoes, cucumbers, and peppers through modern greenhouse facilities that offers climate control for ideal growing condition, advanced hydroponic vertical NFT (Nutrient Film Techniques) that avoids the need for growing media, provides ease of disinfecting and monitoring root health, and increases the yield of products through vertical farming. The greenhouse also utilizes integrated pest management to remove the need for herbicides and pesticides during plant growth.
