Job Description:
KPB Gills Four Seasons Nursery Ltd is looking for full-time and permanent 25 Farm Workers at 1831 Peardonville Road, Abbotsford, BC, V4X 2M3. (Even though this is a full-time position we encourage part time job seekers to apply as well). Salary is $28.85 /hr and 35 to 40 hours/week.
Job Description:
Prepare and Irrigate Soil
Plant, fertilize, thin, and harvest crops
Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
Perform general farm duties
Assist with general farm maintenance of equipment and tools
Load, unload and transfer crates, supplies, farm produce and products for transport
Sort, weigh and pack fruits and vegetables at the farm
Pick row and orchard crops
Clean up racks, trays and harvest bins and general clean up of growing, producing and packing areas
May assist in preparing garden beds for planting.
Employment Requirements:
No degree, certificate or diploma is required. Previous experience is an asset.
