NOC: 82030
EMPLOYMENT TERMS: Full Time - Permanent
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Supervise farm activity including daily livestock feeding, bedding and detection of sick animals.
2. Enforce farm safety and bio-security plans.
3. Monitor and follow-up on every aspect of animal productivity.
4. Daily interaction with the animals to ensure animal wellbeing.
5. Assign duties and examine work for exactness and conformance to policies and procedures.
6. Prepare, review, and complete reports including weekly production reports, action reports supply orders, maintenance reports, and feed orders.
7. Administer and participate in the company safety program.
8. Monitor ventilation and water availability in all barns.
9. Perform other general farm duties as required.
WORKING HOURS: 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (working hours may vary depending on stage of production), rotating weekends off
WAGE: $19.00/hour
EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:
1. Education: Completion of secondary school education is required
2. Work Experience: Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in swine handling and livestock management is required
