Education:
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience:
7 months to less than 1 year
Tasks:
Oversee the activities of clearing the fields
Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations
Hire and train staff
Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
Perform general farm duties
Supervision:
3-4 people
Support for newcomers and refugees:
Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition
Support for youth:
Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth
Support for Indigenous people:
Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers
Supports for visible minorities:
Applies hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities (for example: anonymizing the hiring process, etc.)
