Farm Supervisor Job

We are looking to hire 1 permanent full time Farm Supervisor in Pitt Meadows as soon as possible.

Job Duties include:
1. Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers.
2. Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations.
3. Organize tasks to accomplish the work.
4. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
5. Maintain work records and logs.
6. Perform general farm duties.

Employment Requirements:
1. Secondary School Graduation Certificate is required.
2. The positions require related experience of 1-2 years.
3. Ability to supervise 3-4 people.
4. Ideal candidates should have good command over English and should be organized and team player.
5. The position is physically demanding and combination of sitting, standing & walking.
6. The candidate may be required to work in hot, dusty and outdoors.

Crop: Blueberries

Terms of Employment:
The candidates are expected to be available for work morning, daytime, evening and for flexible hours. These are full time (30-40 hours per week) and 1 permanent position with a salary of $21.00/Hour. Staff accommodation is available and will be provided.
