Job Description:
Valleyview Orchad Ltd. is looking for 2 Farm Supervisors. This position will be full time with 8 hours a day and 40 hours per week. Our farm is located at 9408 Hwy 97 Osoyoos British Columbia, V0H 1V2
The Job Duties for this position will be:
Coordinate, assign and supervise the work of specialized livestock workers, farm machinery operators, harvesting labourers
Supervise, monitor and enforce procedures to maintain crop health and welfare
Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations
Supervise maintenance of infrastructure, equipment, and supplies
Develop work schedules and establish procedures
Ensure farm safety, food safety and security and bio-security procedures are followed
Maintain quality control and production records
May perform general farm duties
Job Requirements:
English is required
1 year to less than 2 years
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
What we offer:
$21 per hour
4% vacation pay
