Job Requirements:
Your duties and responsibilities will include the following:
- Co-ordinate, assign and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers.
- Supervise, monitor and enforce procedures to maintain crop health and welfare.
- Ensures deadlines are met for activities such as seeding and harvesting
- Recruit, train and supervise farm workers - coordinate and direct their activities
- Inspect farm buildings and equipment, ensuring routine maintenance is carried out and repairs are made when
necessary
- Installation, maintenance and regular monitoring of irrigation system
- Ensure and enforce compliance with government regulations and health and safety standards
Requirements:
-College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma
-At least 1 year of relative experience
-Possesses and able to carry out work with the following characteristics:
Client focus, Efficient interpersonal skills, Reliability, Team player
