Farm Supervisor Job

• Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers
• Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed
• Maintain quality control and production records
• Schedule and maintain farm machinery
• Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations
• Perform general farm duties
• Operate and maintain farming machinery and equipment
• Assist in field preparation, planting, spraying and harvesting crops

•Previous experience in farming or agriculture is preferred.
•Ability to work long hours in busy season (Aug to November) outdoor conditions, with physical stamina and a strong work ethic.
•Familiarity with the operation and maintenance of farm machinery is an asset.
•Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
•A valid driver’s license is required; Class 1 license is an asset.
•Ability to work independently and take initiative when needed.
